Irina Kladova, USA

Irina is a watercolor artist based in Washington state, originally from Siberia, Russia. Though passionate about painting from a young age, she formally studied art later in life, after earning a Master’s degree in Natural Resources and Environment in 2001. She later graduated from a private art school and, after moving to the U.S. in 2015, continued to develop her artistic skills through self-directed study in figure drawing, portraiture, oil painting, and calligraphy.

Watercolor became Irina’s preferred medium due to its fluid and unpredictable nature, reflecting life’s transience. Through her art, she encourages viewers to slow down, embrace the present moment, and explore the human capacity to dream.

Irina has exhibited her work since 2015. Notable shows include the Winter Show of Small Works and Miniatures at Parklane Gallery (2023–2025), Invitational Ties at Magnuson Park Gallery (2024–2025), and a solo exhibition at Cheryl Sallee Gallery (2024). She has also participated in themed exhibitions like Crow and Raven at Red Sky Gallery and was recognized in competitions such as ART from HEART CIC (2022). Her work has been featured in juried shows, including the SCVWS Annual Member Show and Every Leaf Speaks Bliss to Me in California (2021).
