Julia Vidak, from Germany, is a self-taught watercolor artist. In 2021, after many years caring for her autistic son, she returned to painting and quickly gained recognition, including being featured in Hahnemühle Week 2023 and selected as one of 13 winners in the 2026 Hahnemühle Worldwide Painting Competition. As an Official Brand Artist of RockWell (OBA), Julia has a deep passion for color, especially RockWell watercolors, whose granulation and vibrant pigmentation inspire her expressive and emotive works.
