In this course, you will develop a solid foundation in compositional drawing, with a particular focus on achieving harmony through color balance in still-life painting. Emphasis will be placed on enhancing light through the strategic use of background and shadow, while maintaining a luminous and vibrant overall effect.

You will be introduced to the à la prima technique—painting directly onto wet paper in a single, confident application. This expressive approach is central to the distinctive, radiant style of artist Natalia Outkina, and students will have the opportunity to explore and apply it under her guidance.
