RockWell International Brand Ambassador. I’ve always been a creative soul. My favorite birthday was the year I received my Jon Gnagy art set. His instruction taught me about light, perspective, and how to observe.
In elementary, I was co-editor & artist for my school newspaper. In middle school, I won 1st place in a county-wide art contest designing a bookmark for our city’s library system. In high school, I pursued every art class available to me at the time, including drawing, painting, ceramics and commercial art. Though mostly self-taught, over the years I’ve painted murals, created props & sets for plays, taught homeschool art classes in co-ops and shared my talents with children and adults alike. And here I must add… I love to spread my passion and watch new creative sparks ignite into glorious flame.

Now retired, I have time to devote fully to my dream. I enjoy working with pastels, colored pencil and my favorite medium, watercolor, though I love nearly all mediums and crafts. My hands just need to stay busy creating and I’m happy!!

And yes, I still enjoy painting palm trees and am especially drawn to painting moments and memories. I guess you can say I’ve come full circle, having the privilege to live out my childhood fantasy in canvas and paint!
