Emotions in Pigment
Julia Vidak is a self-taught watercolor artist from Germany and an International Brand Ambassador for RockWell (IBA). After years devoted to caring for her autistic son, she returned to painting in 2021, quickly gaining international recognition.
She is a winner of the 2026 Hahnemühle Painting Competition and the “Let’s Rock” International Watercolor Contest, and has joined the exclusive ArtLab at Eureka Global Art Academy in 2026.
Julia’s work explores emotion and atmosphere in urban landscapes. Using RockWell watercolors for their rich pigments and expressive granulation, she creates paintings that move between representation and abstraction, inviting viewers to experience the depth and feeling behind each scene.
