Natalie’s love for watercolors began in childhood when her grandmother gifted her a set of paints. After years devoted to academia, she rediscovered her passion for painting, drawn once again to the fluidity and vibrancy of watercolor. She now works with inks—sometimes crafted from foraged natural materials—as well as pastels and mixed media to enrich her compositions.

Inspired by the movement, texture, and energy of the natural world, Natalie seeks to capture the wind’s rhythm and the graceful sway of plants. Her work primarily explores landscapes and wildflower fields, but she is increasingly drawn beyond traditional representation. Rather than simply depicting nature, she aims to convey its wildness, mood, and untamed beauty, offering an expressive and immersive experience through her art.
